An oversized catalogue detailing photographic exploration into rock geology, colour and light by Swiss artist and still life photographer Federico Berardi.
Operating in a conflictual zone between science and art this oversized catalogue features images of 15 stones each found in the Swiss Alps and the region of Mont-Blanc.
Printed on various paper stocks the catalogue is left unbound whilst an untitled but illustrated cover coolly references the molecular make-up of the stones inside the book. Each image is left untitled, marked only by a letter that can be cross-referenced in a bi-lingual appendix which provides only scientific definitions and leaves the works open for interpretation and impact.
